Vogue Italy, Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood

Really strange, it is really hard to understand the whole idea and concept behind the fashion film. I didn’t like the whole set-up and direction of the film, too weird and quite off putting to watch.

Louis Vuitton, Cruise

Love this advert, very classy and elegant which responds to the brand itself being very high class. It is short and sweet, gets the message across. Beautiful scenery which grabs your attention easily. Very well considered camera angles.

GCDS, Xmas FW 17

Quite an unusual fashion film, I wouldn’t say that it represents fashion very well. It got boring quite quickly as it was too long winded.

Prada, 365, Spring Summer 18

Black and white colour throughout which is really authentic and visually pleasing. Very well considered camera angles which makes it interesting to watch, short and sweet. Shows the clothing very well from standstill position to running / moving allowing you to see the flow of the fabrics.

Jimmy Choo, Shimmer in the Dark

Very interesting, great model to pick for the campaign as Cara is well-known and can make anything look fabulous. The whole surroundings and set up gives the impression that people will stop and look at these shoes, they will make a statement which is what the brand is all about. Classy, elegant.

Zara, A/W 17 – 18

Really like how it is purely just the models against a black background with the lighting on them. It makes you really concentrate on the clothing, how the outfits have been put together and the style of the brand. Simplistic but works very well.

Arthur Arbesser x Yoox A/W 17 -18

Love the use of the screens in the background of moving patterns which reflect the colours and patterns of the outfit the model is currently wearing. Upbeat fun music, reflects the personality of the brand. Very fun and interesting to watch.

Roy Rodgers 17 – 18

Very interesting how the campaign has been filmed behind the scenes of a photoshoot, I like how you get to see what happens behind the camera. Where it was shot etc which this campaign does show. Concentrates a lot on the clothing.
