My main roles throughout this project have consisted of styling and stand design, two jobs that I have never experienced professionally before. One area that I feel that I excelled in the most were; taking charge of the styling. It is something that I am really passionate about, so I wanted to make sure the moodboards for NIL and both catwalk shows were finished to a high standard. Another area I feel I excelled in was the table designs. Originally, I designed a few vinyl table designs using shapes which ended up being used throughout the whole project in various different areas; such as NIL, swing tags etc. It was really rewarding to see something that I initially designed resulted in being a big focus for this unit. The area I felt as if I could have improved on would have been the model casting. Even though I attended the first model casting it would have been really interesting to have an involvement as to what models were picked for NIL and also the Bournemouth Show. Overall as a whole group I feel as if there was a slight lack in communication and some roles not being distributed fairly.

Overall, I did enjoy this unit however at times it was very challenging working in such a big group which was affected by the lack of teamwork. This unit has taught me that communication and time management is crucial when it comes to working in a team towards an end goal. This unit has allowed me to gain experience and skills in areas I have never experienced before. I have become more confident in talking in a group and presenting my ideas to others which for me is a huge progress. Everything learnt in this unit will help me in my final year and future jobs.
