A Magical Holiday - November 2017

This film is very family orientated and such a good idea. There seems to be a slight reference to ‘The Grinch’ as the reason behind the little girl’s adventure is to catch the ‘scrooge’ of Christmas who is ruining it and doesn’t enjoy it. The key moment as well as the most memorable moment in the film is when the little girl is giving back the presents to the children who had theirs stolen from them. The least effective part would have to be when the little girl is trying to get the attention off of the motorcyclists.

The Secret Life of Flowers, Erdem x H&M - October 2017

This fashion film has got to be one of my favourites, it is so engaging and interesting to watch you can watch it over and over again. The message I believe behind this film is encouraging people to come together and meet new people. The key moment for me in the film is when it shows the behind the scenes of the photoshoots with the models wearing the beautiful clothes surrounded by stunning props and flowers. The most memorable moment in the film is when the main male character sets eyes on the girl for the first time. Personally, I don’t think that there is a least effective moment in the film.

The Fall Collection, Naomi Campbell - September 2017

This film is very energetic and upbeat. The message behind the film is to make people understand that fashion can be fun and that the 80’s era of style is making a comeback. The key moment for me is when all the models are filmed wearing the clothes, dancing in a mirrored room. However, the most memorable moment is when Naomi Campbell turns around and makes an appearance. The least effective moment of the film is the introduction it takes a while to get into the fun part of the film.

Sport Collection - July 2017

This fashion film is introducing people to the fact that H&M also sells sportswear clothing. The message behind this film is that even when you’re working out you can still look stylish, no matter what the conditions around you are. The key moment in this for me is when the girl is doing yoga on a mountain, showing the flexibility and style of the clothing. The most memorable moment part of the film is when the men are jumping off of walls which goes with the style of music playing. The least effective part of the film is when they replay the same moments they have already shown.

Conscious Exclusive - April 2017

This fashion film is all about making the consumers aware of the conscious collection they have at H&M that it is based on sustainability and looking after our planet. The message behind this film is to make people realise that we need to know where our clothes are being made, how they are made and what impact the production of them can be making on the environment. The key moment in the film for me is the lady talking over the top of the film commentating giving the viewer information about this area within fashion. The most memorable moment is when the model wearing all black, the clothes are elegantly blowing in the wind. It is a really effective scene. The least effective is the model in the first sequin outfit I don’t feel as if it goes with the whole message behind the film. The outfit doesn’t elegantly move like the other one does its just still.

Bring it on - January 2017

This fashion film is all about recycling old clothing for it to be reused and made into something else. The main message behind this fashion film is don’t just throw your clothes away do something with them to help the planet. Recycle them so that they can be made into another garment. This film is inspired by some of the reduce, reuse and recycle videos, as it shows the whole process of it being recycled and made into something new. The key moment in this film for me and the most memorable part too is when they show people less fortunate who have been given the newly made clothes. The least effective part of the film is when the girl at the start of the film is prancing round the bedroom in her pants I didn’t think that was needed.

Come Together, Adrien Brody - November 2016

This film is such a lovely idea of showing the true meaning behind Christmas. The message behind the film is all about everyone coming together at Christmas, spending time with one other and appreciating what you have. The key moment in the film and also the most memorable for me is when everyone on the train joins together and little boy comes through the doors to celebrate with them all. They all welcome him and he puts the star on the top of the tree. I wouldn’t actually say that there is a least effective moment within the film.

Back to School - August 2016

This fashion film is so cute and energetic showing the kids dancing and messing about. The message behind the film I would say is showing that kids do have fun wearing H&M clothing, that they are comfy and durable. There are slight references in the of the dance films ‘Step’ when it features the dance off and showing the DJ. The key moment for me is when all of the kids join together and unite, having fun and enjoying the music. The most memorable moment if when the kids have the dance off, it’s funny and very cute to watch. It isn’t long and the content in there is enough so I wouldn’t say that there is a least effective moment in the film.
