As a group we have decided that we would like to have the ‘Arts University Bournemouth’ sign written in LED Lights on the stand. Sian began to look on different websites to see how much they would cost if we were to have it made however it was working out to be roughly £300 so that was out of the question. Both Sian and Nicole were then looking for LED Lights to do our own DIY sign, they found some which would be suitable for what we wanted to do. After discussing this on Monday myself and Sian done a practice trial using wool to see if it would work, considering the wool didn’t have a strong structure to hold itself it did work surprisingly well. The images below show the outcome of our practice run. Myself, Sian and Nicole also photocopied some images from the previous NIL Photoshoots and magazines such as Dazed for stylised photo inspiration for the photoshoot on Friday.
Yesterday myself and Yoko photographed the third years collections on the models after their GFW selection. It was interesting to see all their final collections as we hadn’t really had the chance to see their work finished up until then. It gave us the chance to see what garments were going to be pictured for NIL and what collections worked really well together. Later on that day, Yoko, Vicky and myself met up with the two potential photographers for the NIL Photoshoot. We discussed with them the procedure for the day, showed them the previous NIL shoot and what props etc we would need on the day. They seemed very interested and eager to be on board, the NIL Photoshoot is on Friday which I am really excited to attend.
